Could it be that the jews rejected jesus(PBUH) because of the false prophecies that were written in the talmud?

written by a group of rabbi's in babylon.could it be that they made a royal mess with the prophecies that jesus(PBUH) suppose to fulfill and made up all these things in the talmud, and now most follow the talmud and not the torah????Could it be that the jews rejected jesus(PBUH) because of the false prophecies that were written in the talmud?
answer: Try again.

Jews don't ';reject'; Jesus. He merely failed to meet the requirements found in the TANAKH (not the Talmud) - the Talmud is the study of the Torah.

Reasons Jesus wasn鈥檛 the Jewish Messiah

divine birth/divinity - (the Jewish Messiah will be human 鈥?G-d cannot become human 鈥?Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:6, Hosea 11:9, Ezekiel 28:2, Numbers 23:19) - strike

performing miracles - (JM won't perform miracles) - strike

taking on the sins of others - (no one can take on the sins of others 鈥?Deuteronomy 24:16, Exodus 32:30-35, Ezekiel 18:1-4; 20-24; 26-27) - strike

breaking Sabbath - strike (JM will be observant) - strike

sacrificed/rising from the dead - (G-d rejects human sacrifice and blood sacrifice is NOT an absolute requirement 鈥?Deuteronomy 12:30-31, Jeremiah 19:4-6, Psalm 106:37-38, Ezekiel 16:20, Leviticus 5:11-13, Jonah 3:10, Leviticus 17, Leviticus 5:11-13, Numbers 16:47, Numbers 31:50, Isaiah 6:6-7, Jeremiah 7:22-23, Psalm 51:16-17) - strike

prophecies unfilled - (JM will accomplish them in one life time) 鈥?strike

The Messiah cannot trace his lineage through Jehoiakim, Jeconiah, or Shealtiel, because this royal line was cursed (I Chronicles 3:15-17; Jeremiah 22:18,30). But according to both Matthew 1:11-12 and Luke 3:27, Jesus was a descendant of Shealtiel. - strike

being worshiped - Jews worship G-d and only G-d 鈥?strike and OUT

*****In other words - this must all be accomplished in a human lifetime*****

* Jews will know the Torah without Study (Jeremiah 31:33)

* He will give you all the desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4)

* He will take the barren land and make it abundant and fruitful (Isaiah 51:3, Amos 9:13-15, Ezekiel 36:29-30, Isaiah 11:6-9).Could it be that the jews rejected jesus(PBUH) because of the false prophecies that were written in the talmud?
Nobody ';follows'; the Talmud. You obviously know nothing about it. The Talmud has two components: the Mishnah (c. 200 CE), the first written compendium of Judaism's Oral Law; and the Gemara (c. 500 CE), a discussion of the Mishnah and related Tannaitic writings that often ventures onto other subjects and expounds broadly on the Tanakh. Now, how could the Jews have ';rejected'; Jesus because of the Talmud when the Talmud wasn't written until at least 200 years after he died! The Jews had already decided that he wasn't their Messiah by that time.
No, because the prophecies Jesus failed were the Messianic prophecies found in the Tanakh.

None of them are found in the Talmud. In fact, the Babylonian Talmud was written down long AFTER Jesus of Nazareth's life -- so if these ';false prophecies'; really were in the Talmud, they wouldn't have existed at the time of Jesus to cause confusion.

You might want to study Judaism a little more, your idiocy is showing.

*goes to urinate on a statue of Muhammad because of this question*
It says that God has blinded them until the fulness of the gentiles.

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
No worse than the Muslims, honey.

St Paul in the letter to the Galatians :

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! ...
True that the Jews follow the Talmud more than the Torah, but then again the Muslims follow the Koran more than the Bible, so both are led astray.
You have a reliable reference for your contentions I suppose. We would like to see them.
To sum it all up,, AGAIN,,, JESUS IS GOD!! Period. %26lt;')))%26gt;%26lt;
