Why do JW's call changed or (false) prophecy ';New Light';?

1944...witnesses are to Worship Jesus

1954.... witnesses are not to Worship Jesus

correction ...not failed prophecies but changed doctrineWhy do JW's call changed or (false) prophecy ';New Light';?
so your saying that if we realize we are doing something wrong, we shouldn't change and carry on regardless?

change isn't a bad thing

and 1914 was never 'prophesied'Why do JW's call changed or (false) prophecy ';New Light';?
';New Light'; sounds better than ';Bulls**t.

The Watchtower Society prophesied that Armageddon would come at 6 separate and distinct time periods and they were wrong.

1914 - ';In view of this strong Bible evidence concerning the Times of the Gentiles, we consider it an established truth that the final end of the kingdoms of this world, and the full establishment of the Kingdom of God, will be accomplished by the end of 1914.'; (The Time is at Hand, 1902 edition, p. 99) Note: this same statement was contained in the 1908 edition of the same book.

End of WW1: “The present great war in Europe is the beginning of the Armageddon of the Scriptures (Revelation 19:16-20). It will eventuate in the complete overthrow of all the systems of error which have so long oppressed the people of God and deluded the world”. (Pastor Russell's Sermons, 1915, p. 676) In the same year (1915),

1925 - “The period must end in 1925 . . . [This date] is definitely fixed in the Scriptures. Every thinking person can see that a great climax is at hand. The scriptures clearly indicate that the climax is the fall of Satan's empire and the full establishment of the Messianic kingdom . . . Therefore, it can be confidently said at this time that millions now living will never die”. (Golden Age, January 4, 1922, p. 217)

1975 - Watchtower, October 15, 1969 pages 622 and 623:

';More recently earnest researchers of the Holy Bible have made a recheck of its chronology. According to their calculations the six millenniums of mankind's life on earth would end in the mid-seventies…. Would not, then, the end of six millenniums of mankind's laborious enslavement under Satan the Devil be the fitting time for Jehovah God to usher in a Sabbath millennium for all his human creatures? Yes, indeed! And his King Jesus Christ will be Lord of that Sabbath.';

Notice the use of the definite article “the”. It would be “the fitting time”, not “a fitting time” not “an appropriate time” but “THE FITTING TIME”, to the exclusion of all other times. “Yes, Indeed! And his King Jesus Christ will be Lord of that Sabbath”. Not “might be”, not “could be”, but “WILL BE”.

• End of the 20th Century - Again in 1971, they said it would come in the 20th century: ”Shortly, within our twentieth century, the “battle in the day of Jehovah” will begin”. From: The Nations Shall Know That I Am Jehovah - How? 1971 p. 216”

Within the life span of the 1914 generation: Watchtower, 7/1/69 pg395:

“People who were only just old enough to understand what was happening to the world in 1914 are now approaching seventy years of age. Yes, the numbers of that generation are dwindling fast, but before they all pass away this system must meet its end in the war of Armageddon.”

None of the above happened and as of 1995, the above 1914 thing is wrong
I asked a JW, if their religion is inspired by Jehovah and Jehovah is an all knowing God, then why the need for changes in their teachings? Why the unfulfilled prophesies? The answer was: ';Everyone makes mistakes.';

JW's blatantly said, ';This old system will be destroyed by the end of 1975.'; Another false prophecy.
An organization who claims to be the channel for God, the ';faithful %26amp; discreet slave';, God's prophet, etc. should never, ever be incorrect in anything, period. Do humans make mistakes... of course and that's okay. Does God... NO! This is the very reason I question the Watchtower.
And we do have very close worship to jesus, actually, we have way more respact for him then u do , but we also understand that Jehovah God is the almighty god, so we do worship both, but we put a limitt on jesus, we don't worship him like the only god.
Because they are willing to accept mistakes %26amp; adjust unlike other Christians who have so much pride they would rather die following a lie than admit the mistakes.

Lets face it JW's are just a better class of christians than any other.

LOL LOL LOL
Because that religion is under the dominion of the anti-Christ according to the Bible.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made....14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

The Lord Jesus is not the created arch-angel Michael. That notion is is a product of the deceptive spirit of the anti or ';substitute'; Christ.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
