Jehovah's Witnesses: False Prophecy... Did I strike a nerve?

My last open, AND RESPECTFUL, question to you about your beliefs on the false prophecies within your organization was removed as a violation.

So are you okay with the idea that one of your ';brothers or sisters'; falsely reported it because s/he apparently felt that the evidence I was sharing was ';too threatening'; to the very core of your belief system?

I'm sure this one will also be censored, too... but think about it before you hit the button.

Did anyone else see the questions I'm asking you before they were removed? And what statement does that make to them when the question gets falsely reported? Hmmmmmm.....

By the way, I'm sure the evidence will be presented again. And not just by me.

Try to have an open mind next time! Thanks :)Jehovah's Witnesses: False Prophecy... Did I strike a nerve?
JW's have made lots of prophecies which have never happened but they always ignore them and deny they were false, but rather that there was an inncorrect reading, or they got the date wrong, or they miscalculated / mistranslated something, etc, etc. Then when you question this and suggest they are false prophets then it a no no no no no, and then a lot of poor excuses!

I love it! Already there's the excuse of ';Were not perfect, leave us alone!'; Well dont make prophecies then!!Jehovah's Witnesses: False Prophecy... Did I strike a nerve?
Jehovah's Witnesses do not like when the truth is said here and are worried about some of there members of seeing the truth. Most of the answers I had deleted are Jehovah Witness related and that must mean something. They know that they cannot let their members know the truth and so will do anything to hide it.

Please remember all members of this cult that you can leave and their is many true churches who will be glad to take you in and make friends with you and not only that you will know the real truth that only Jesus Christ can give you and also have your name written in the book of life and spend eternity in heaven with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

True Christianity:

* Should not fear any examination, and criticism, and need not forbid reading any other factual information.

* Should interpret the Bible using sound, scholarly methods involving the examination of context, language and history.

* That no other book but the Bible should be necessary (2 Tim. 3:16), and no special man or group of men should be needed to interpret it, as 1 John 2:27 tells us that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things.

* Christianity has been around for 2000 years, and we can trace all the way back to its origins.

* The church is to be supported by collections and offerings, and ministers have the right to be paid. (1 Tim. 5:17,18; 1 Cor. 9:14; 16:2)

* True Christianity has Christ as its mediator, for ALL.

* Jesus warns us against those who claim to be prophets, yet whose prophecies go unfulfilled.

* All Christians have access to the same truths.

* Truth is not afraid of error, nor the devil. Only the devil runs from the truth.

Like, where is there to go?

(JOHN 6:68) Simon Peter answered him: 鈥淟ord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life;

All the other religions are tied up with the trinity.

There have been many comments on 1975. this was the end of 6,000 years of man's existence on the earth. Many have confused this figure with the actual age of the earth. It is much old

. But the Watchtower society has never MADE a prohecy

They have, though, pointed out to people the prohecies already IN the Bible.

The main religions leave these very much alone because they are unable to explain them in light of their traditional belief in the false trinity doctrine.
Why does everyone have to pick on JW's..? Are there not other religions out there that are just a different..?

None and I mean NONE of them are perfect and most if not all of them have said or done things over the decades they have been around that could be questioned
Do not feel bad about Cathy's comment, I have seen her around on JW questions. JWs have those ';please, leave them alone'; characters following when someone questions WT or JWs. I would not have so big of a problem with them if they left people alone with their false teachings.

They make too many mistakes for ';God's only channel of communication';. Their ';Awake'; mag should be called '; Wake up!';

It is not a hard thing to strike a nerve with JWs. They are very 'nervy'. Unless you of course agree with them
