Why is Hosea 11:1 a prophecy of Jesus if vs 2 has him going back to worship false idols?

When Israel was a youth I loved him,

And out of Egypt I called My son.

The more they called them,

The more they went from them;

They kept sacrificing to the Baals

And burning incense to idols. Why is Hosea 11:1 a prophecy of Jesus if vs 2 has him going back to worship false idols?
I'm sorry, forgive me for my incompetence but I fail to see what vs 2 of Hosea 11 has to do with Jesus. I thought it was talking about God's chosen people, the Israelites and Ephraim. Why is Hosea 11:1 a prophecy of Jesus if vs 2 has him going back to worship false idols?
Hosea 11 is referring to the House of Israel, called out of Egypt in the manner the Lord was, as a child, and of their return from there. But the tribe of Ephraim turns away from the Lord while the tribe of Judah does not.

Ephraim is the one who keeps sacrificing to Baalim and burning incense to the idols.
Israel was the one going back to worship Baal not Hosea. The picture is of God and His bride (Israel). Just like Hosea's wife kept going back to prostitution, God's people kept going into idolatry.

The part where that refers to Jesus I think ends on that one verse. It seems like there are several prophetic scriptures that play out like that. One verse out of the chapter will point to Jesus and the rest is literal. An example would be the bronze serpent in the wilderness, just as Moses lifted up the bronze serpent in the wilderness, so shall the son of man be lifted up. That section of scripture foreshadowed the cross. Later on, Israel I think ended up worshiping the thing!
Hosea 13:4

4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt; and thou knowest no God but Me, and beside Me there is no saviour.
“The Ways of Jehovah Are Upright”

“The ways of Jehovah are upright, and the righteous are the ones who will walk in them.”—HOSEA 14:9.

JEHOVAH gave the Israelites an upright start in the days of the prophet Moses. By the early eighth century B.C.E., however, their situation had become so bad that God found them guilty of gross wrongdoing. This is evident from Hosea chapters 10 through 14.

2 Israel’s heart had become hypocritical. The people of that ten-tribe kingdom had “plowed wickedness” and reaped unrighteousness. (Hosea 10:1, 13) “When Israel was a boy, then I loved him,” said Jehovah, “and out of Egypt I called my son.” (Hosea 11:1) Although God had delivered the Israelites from Egyptian bondage, they repaid him with lying and deception. (Hosea 11:12) Jehovah therefore gave them this counsel: “To your God you should return, keeping loving-kindness and justice.”—Hosea 12:6.

3 Rebellious Samaria and its king would have a disastrous end. (Hosea 13:11, 16) But the final chapter of Hosea’s prophecy opens with the plea: “Do come back, O Israel, to Jehovah your God.” If the Israelites repentantly sought forgiveness, God would extend mercy. Of course, they would have to acknowledge that “the ways of Jehovah are upright” and walk in them.—Hosea 14:1-6, 9.

4 This section of Hosea’s prophecy contains many principles that can help us to walk with God. We will consider these: (1) Jehovah requires unhypocritical worship, (2) God shows his people loyal love, (3) we need to hope in Jehovah constantly, (4) Jehovah’s ways are always upright, and (5) sinners can return to Jehovah.

Jehovah Requires Unhypocritical Worship

5 Jehovah expects us to render sacred service to him in a clean, unhypocritical manner. However, Israel had become an unproductive “degenerating vine.” Israel’s inhabitants had ‘multiplied altars’ for use in false worship. These apostates had even put up pillars—perhaps obelisks designed for use in unclean worship. Jehovah was going to break down these altars and destroy such pillars.—Hosea 10:1, 2.

6 Hypocrisy has no place among Jehovah’s servants. Yet, what had happened to the Israelites? Why, ‘their heart had become hypocritical’! Although they had once entered a covenant with Jehovah as a people dedicated to him, he found them guilty of hypocrisy. What can we learn from this? If we have dedicated ourselves to God, we must not be hypocrites. Proverbs 3:32 warns: “The devious person is a detestable thing to Jehovah, but His intimacy is with the upright ones.” In order to walk with God, we must display love “out of a clean heart and out of a good conscience and out of faith without hypocrisy.”—1 Timothy 1:5.

God Shows His People Loyal Love

7 If we worship Jehovah in an unhypocritical and upright way, we will be recipients of his loving-kindness, or loyal love. The wayward Israelites were told: “Sow seed for yourselves in righteousness; reap in accord with loving-kindness. Till for yourselves arable land, when there is time for searching for Jehovah until he comes and gives instruction in righteousness to you.”—Hosea 10:12.

8 If only the Israelites would repentantly search for Jehovah! Then he would gladly ‘give them instruction in righteousness.’ If we have personally sinned seriously, let us search for Jehovah, praying to him for forgiveness and seeking spiritual help from Christian elders. (James 5:13-16) May we also seek the guidance of God’s holy spirit, for “he who is sowing with a view to his flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but he who is sowing with a view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit.” (Galatians 6:8) If we ‘sow with a view to the spirit,’ we will continue to enjoy God’s loyal love.

9 We can have confidence that Jehovah always deals with his people in a loving way. Evidence of this is found at Hosea 11:1-4, where we read: “When Israel was a boy, then I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. . . . To the Baal images they took up sacrificing, and to the graven images they began making sacrificial smoke. But as for me, I taught Ephraim [the Israelites] to walk, taking them upon my arms; and they did not recognize that I had healed them. With the ropes of earthling man I kept drawing them, with the cords of love, so that I became to them as those lifting off a yoke on their jaws, and gently I brought food to each one.”

10 Here Israel is compared to a small child. Jehovah lovingly taught the Israelites to walk, taking them upon his arms. And he kept drawing them with “the cords of love.” What a touching picture! Imagine that you are a parent helping your child to take his first steps. Your arms are outstretched. You may be using cords for your little one to hold on to so that he does not fall. Well, Jehovah’s love for you is just as tender. He is delighted to lead you with “the cords of love.”

11 In dealing with the Israelites, Jehovah “became to them as those lifting off a yoke on their jaws, and gently [he] brought food to each one.” God acte

The Personal nature, ‘Priceless-ness’ And Grace

Of This Message

The “Personal Nature Priceless ness And Grace” Of This “Very Dear”

And Spiritually Valuable Scroll/Book/Message Called “His Majesty

The Christ:

**************************************…

Dear sir and madam, I may not have the charisma or persuasiveness offered

together with the pure word of God and the spiritual revelation there in, seen and

heard in a many forums and various ways known or unknown to you, of

participating in the divine nature. Such I have, I share with you in zealous and

passionate love of God. It is God who is zealous for you in person, and jealous of the

spirit he put in you, made in his own image and likeness, a great love lavished on

and in you, as a fragrance of the knowledge of him and from him.

The children of Israel while in the desert were given the free manna, which they did

not labor for, which was served on the sandy surface and earth of the desert, but

what is important is that, they ate the very food, from heaven, normally served to

and meant for angels. No man could have been permitted or could be able to add or

remove the hidden secret and formula of the rejuvenating and life prolonging recipe

and delicacy in the manna.

Only the quails, well know avian creatures, which they callously craved for, came

from the earth. Just as manna came from heaven the word of God is settled and

comes from heaven and God has exalted his word and name above all things, and

even above all blessings and praise! A man receives nothing of spiritual or divine

value, unless it is given him freely from heaven. This is the grace and truth that

indwelt the Christ in all its fullness during his earthly life and legacy, otherwise

called the Gospel of the glory of God the Father hidden and revealed on the face of

Christ.

Do we want a recipe and delicacy of quail served in golden plates and tables or the

true ‘manna’ from heaven served on the sun scorched desert floor!? The earth and

everything there off are his own and is his footstool and he serve his word anywhere

anyhow he prefers in his manifold wisdom.

Just to put it , and ask, in a more light but revealing touch; who owns or lays claim

to the IPR (intellectually Property Rights) of the delicacy and recipe that the manna

from heaven was.?! It is God The Father and The Christ The Son, who was and is

the very bread from heaven, the Holy Spirit and only possibly a few angels who

prepared the heavenly delicacy, had the key and secret on it!

Who has the secret and key and the Intellectual Property Rights to the right and

sanctified life giving and liberating spiritual revelation of the word of the light of the

knowledge of the glory of God hidden on the face of Christ?! It is the Christ and the

Holy Spirit of God who reveals all the sanctifying and satisfying truth of the word of

and from God. Only him was found worthy to open the scroll of the word of and

from God, for the word of God is a mystery and not just a theological knowledge

base. Again it is said in John 6:45-….. “They shall all be taught by God.”

Who is the head of the Church? It is Christ and His Church, which is his own body

and he lives to reveal this mystery to her-Ephesians 3:10-12-and to make plain to

everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages was kept hidden in God,

who created all things. His intent was that now through the Church, the manifold

wisdom of God should be made known to the rules and authorities in the Heavenly

realms, according to his eternal purpose, which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our

Lord. In him and through him we may approach God with freedom and confidence

John 4:37-Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps is true. I sent you to reap

what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have

reaped the benefits of their labor.’ What are we reaping together as one?

It is the grace and sweet smelling fragrance of spiritual revelation of the word and

name of his Majesty The Christ, His righteousness, and Kingdom, spread before us

as on a golden table. For us before whom and to whom this precious table is lovingly

and lavishly spread, the scriptures says…Romans 9:16-It does not therefore

depends on mans desire and effort, but on God’s mercy.

In the same understanding, it is not how one pray for a plate of food served and set

before him or her that makes all the difference, or sanctifies the food,
